About Omar Lawyer & Founder of AEH Criminal Law
I am a criminal defence lawyer who represents individuals facing serious criminal charges in Ontario. Whether you are innocent or guilty, I approach every case with the understanding that what is at stake for my clients is real and personal: liberty, reputation, family, and future.
I bring a deep understanding of the criminal justice system shaped by both lived experience and professional training. I hold a B.A. in Criminology with a minor in Psychology from Ryerson University and earned my law degree from the University of Ottawa. During law school, I clerked at the Ontario Court of Justice and interned with the Department of Justice, gaining insight into how judges and prosecutors evaluate criminal cases.
Since being called to the bar in 2019, I have conducted trials in the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice, and have argued appeals before the Ontario Court of Appeal. I represent clients across Ontario and am fluent in Arabic.
I work closely with my clients to protect their rights, challenge the prosecution’s case, and pursue the best possible outcome—at every stage of the process.
